The Van Duyne Motel is located on the south side of the road immediately after crossing the first Kankakee River bridge when coming from the east on W. Baltimore Street in Wilmington . One of the signs in front of this motel read "Best Motel by a Dam Site" when we went by in 2016. That's a reference to the nearby Wilmington Dam.

There are three signs out front, this seems to be the most prominent one at the moment.
