This Blue Star Memorial Highway marker was dedicated on Veteran's Day 2006. It stands in a flower bed along with the VFW's sign. They is located on Hwy. 53/Baltimore St. ( Route 66) and School St. This is home for the VFW Post 5422 and American Legion Post 191.

In part the plaque reads: A tribute to the Armed Forces that have defended the United States of America".

The old VFW Post 5422 neon sign stands on the other side of the parking lot from the Blue Star Highway sign.
