This movie house first opened in December 1939 with 500 seats and closed
in the mid-1980s. At various times since then it has been used for many
things including a skateboard park, indoor paintball field, and as a dinner
theatre for live shows by the Vermillion Players of Ponitac. In 2016 is
was renovated becoming the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center.
