This information sign is located on th 1926 alignment of 66 just after you leave Girard. There's a paved parking pullout by the sign.

Just beyond the yellow "curve ahead" sign. in the background in this photo you can see where you leave the current IL-4 and turn south onto the 1926 alignment of Route 66.
