The Fassero Family was inducted into the Illinois Route 66 Hall of Fame in 2003. For 65 years the Fassero Oil Company provided the Shell gasoline sold at the Soulsby Station in nearby Mt. Olive. The Fassero property is located at the intersection of the Hardroad (IL-4) and Central.
