The Dr. Pepper Bottling Company moved into this building in 1930. When you think Dr. Pepper do you think of beer, neither did I, until I did a little research for this page. On April 7th,1933 truck loads of Falstaff 3.2 beer began arriving at this plant and then distributed to retail outlets. By 1936 Dr. Pepper had moved on and set up business down the street in a new and larger building. In the 1940s this was home to the United Advertising Corporation of Texas.

x About Us We started traveling Historic U.S. Route 66 as a destination in 2009. It's like a 2,400 mile long drive back in time from Chicago to Santa Monica! more
xDid You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
