In the late 1950s this was "The Dutch Village Motel - A motel built for your comfort and enjoyment". It appears to have been built on the former site of Harry's Auto Parts. It was stilll operating as The Dutch Villlage in the late 1990s.

Did You Know: Many parts of the old 4 lane Route 66 were reverted to a 2 lane road after 66 was realigned to the interstate. In many places the abandoned lanes are still there.
